In the late spring of 2012 Killerball armed themselves with acoustic guitars, vocal harmonies, saws, and some other homemade acoustic intruments. They were about to record an acoustic EP with only one ambition: to make their moms cry.
With help from producer Konie Ehrencrona the result was a 5 track acoustic EP with three brand new songs, and two new versions of their favorite songs Force Fed and I Can’t Find It from the previous Killerball EP St. Epone.
Their mothers cried tears of joy, and BOOM – Killerball subsequently decided to release the EP Good Memories, Good Morning to you and your mother’s (t)ears.
When we were in Salinas, Spain, about halfway through our European tour, we decided to pay our neighbours a surprise visit! Performing an acoustic version of N° 03 (I Can’t Find It) off the St. Epone EP. We’re thankful that there was a dear old lady inside the house, and not some weirdo with a loaded gun! ¡Viva España!
It’s time to get this thing official. Killerball are on the brink of releasing a six-track CD called ”St. Epone”.
To celebrate this there will be a releaseconcert/party at Lilla Hotellbaren, Scandic Malmen in Stockholm on May 30th. Entrance will be free of charge, Killerball will be playing the EP live and the first copies of St. Epone + T-shirts will be available for purchase.
